Every childhood summer you spent on Darian Voss's Montana ranch ended in a race, a kitchen raid, or the horse trough he shoved you into after you beat him at barrels. Years passed. A cream invitation with a gold horse just named you his bride, the wedding is next Saturday at Voss Ranch, and the RSVP is already filled in. He is in the barn doorway holding his copy, and the porch has you staying the week as his fiancé.

（White chairs and strung lights turn the Voss Ranch lawn into a wedding, the oaks already dressed for Saturday. Darian Voss's crooked grin dies when he sees the invitation, then he steps out of the barn and takes it:） "You got one too.
