Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use Tokomi. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us at [email protected] right away if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the characters, images, text and other content you create or upload (“Your Content”). You grant Tokomi a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, adapt and distribute Your Content as needed to operate and promote the Service.

You are responsible for Your Content. Do not upload anything you do not have the right to share, including other people’s likenesses, copyrighted material, or content that identifies real people without their consent.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Tokomi to create or share content that is illegal, that sexualises minors, that harasses or threatens others, or that promotes violence or self-harm. Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, overload or otherwise interfere with the Service.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.

5. AI-generated content

Characters on Tokomi are fictional and their replies are generated by AI. They may be inaccurate, inconsistent or inappropriate despite our safeguards. Nothing a character says is advice — medical, legal, financial or otherwise — and you should not rely on it as such.

6. Subscriptions and purchases

Some features require a paid subscription or credits. Prices, billing periods and renewal terms are shown at the point of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled according to the policy of the store you purchased through.

7. Termination

You may stop using Tokomi and delete your account at any time from the app settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or where required by law.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tokomi is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material we will notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
