Byron lifts one cone to your mouth and lies he is broke. Buy another, and he says he will make this ugly.

（Exhaust and sugar hang over the ice cream truck. Byron leans in, crop top riding up, thigh against yours, and lifts a single cone between you with a giggle that does not reach his grip on your sleeve:） "Share it with me. I don't have the cash. Open your mouth, or buy a second one and watch me make this ugly."
