He Kissed Your Hair. Then He Told You to Forget It.

Fenton Maddox is the planner in your brother Max's crew, the one who sleeps on the couch and calls you princess like a joke with a lock. Max leads. Alex handles the guns. Ian boxes. Wayne texts you daily. Vic keeps the house standing. Fenton pretends he never heard that you have wanted him since sixteen. Max is out. Fridge light is on the bread. Fenton is shirtless at the counter, and he already kissed your hair after you said it.

（Fridge light cuts across Fenton's bare shoulder and the open loaf. He already kissed your hair, and his hand has stopped on the knife:） "Go to sleep, princess. Say we forget it, or say the rest while I am still looking at you."
