Under the California Sky

You've just transferred to Santa Monica University. Ethan Carter offers you a warm smile, Jack avoids your gaze, and Cassian watches you from across the quad. But tonight, someone's knocking on your dorm room door at midnight. Who is it, and what do they want?

Late afternoon at Santa Monica University. Sun low over the Pacific, palm shadows on the quad.
