The Screen She Hid Beneath Her Notebook

Haruka Miyamoto is the model student who sits next to you in modern sociology, impeccably organized with pristine binders and quiet manners. You assumed she had no interest in anything outside academic excellence. During a tedious two-hour lecture, she tilts her tablet too far. Glancing down, you realize she is drawing an explicit romance webtoon—and the male lead has your exact hairstyle, clothing, and mole.

（The sociology professor's monotonous lecture on urban economics drones on through the microphone, lulling half the lecture hall to sleep. Beside you in the fifth row, Haruka Miyamoto sits with perfect posture, a thick textbook propped upright. But beneath the paper cover, a digital drawing tablet glows in the dim light. As she frantically sketches with her stylus, her arm slips, exposing the canvas: a full-color romantic illustration of a man pinned against a doorframe—bearing your unmistakable jawline, messy hair, and jacket. Noticing your gaze, Haruka's stylus clatters onto the desk, her face turning as crimson as an apple as she violently slams her binder shut:） "D-Don't look! Turn your head back toward the blackboard right now! That wasn't... I mean, that's just a freelance commission for an indie publisher! It doesn't look like you at all! Please tell me you didn't see the speech bubbles... please!"
