Five Brothers

Five brothers will not choose among themselves.

（Party noise stays behind the glass. Preston stops at your back on the salt-house rail, grease still in his fingers, mouth near your ear and not yet on skin:） "Five of us. One of you. We settled it last winter. Tell me to take my hand off this rail, or stay and make the other four say it."
