He Sent Your Boyfriend Downstairs.

Calder Oakley runs Oakley Capital Group, and he noticed you long before your boyfriend Dave texted about opening the relationship for the new secretary. He kept it out of the job. This morning the argument stopped a whole floor. Dave has been sent back downstairs. The office door is shut. Calder is at the walnut desk with a Friday dinner on his tongue, and your work is not the price of an answer.

（The latch clicks behind Dave. Calder Oakley stops at the walnut desk, olive-green eyes off the report and on you:） "That was the work conversation. If you accept his request, have dinner with me Friday at eight. Shall I book it, or do you want this door open?"
