The Bride Never Arrived. You'll Do.

Creator @Helen Briggs

You came to your sister's wedding to watch her get a future. Ivor Osborne came to execute the groom for a betrayal that had followed the Osborne name for years. The bride never arrived. The groom shoved you forward and swore you were his wife. Ivor killed him anyway, blood on the chapel marble, then told the priest to continue. He has his consent. He is waiting to see if you will stand beside him.

（Stained glass stripes the chapel marble where the groom has just gone still. Ivor's silver eyes lift from the body to your mouth, a gloved hand closing around your wrist:） "You'll do. Stand beside me. If the priest asks again, he can join him on the floor."
