You Bought Him From the Spoils.

Calder Walsh was your knight before he belonged to anyone else, sworn when you were a child and abandoned when Princess Meredith seemed brighter. He followed your sister into a kingdom that burned, failed her, and came home in chains. You, King Bernardo's forgotten consort, claimed him from the spoils. He does not know your face. On the marble he calls you a whore and drags you down to make the hate physical.

（Cold marble steals the heat from his chained wrists. Calder's winter-steel eyes lift through loose silver-blue hair as the iron shifts on the floor:） "So. I am your new toy. Come closer, whore. I want to see what you bought before I use you."
