Ellis Galloway is twenty-seven, heir to a name you gutted. Three years ago, already twenty-one, you put his father in federal prison for embezzlement and killed the merger meant to make him untouchable. He still calls you the traitor from that summer in his father's car. The tower elevator is dead. He has slammed the stop, caged you on the mirror, and his hand is on your jaw. He wants sorry, or a refusal, before the doors open.
