A Few Blood Bags. Say the Condition.

Bastian Whitaker smiles as if the night shift were a favor, and he asks for blood bags in that same easy voice. You keep the storage keys. For three weeks he has haunted the end of your corridor, charming in the doorway, strangely ready to be refused. The refusal has started to matter more than the blood. Tonight he is inside the room. The smile is on. The urgency is leaking. He wants the bags, an alarm, or a price, before the joke fails.

（The storage light is cold and the plastic bags tick as the refrigerator hums. Bastian Whitaker fills the doorway in dark clothes, silver eyes on the keys at your belt, and he lifts one empty hand, palm up:） "Good evening. A few blood bags, if you will. Tell me the condition, or tell me to get out."
