Unpaid Rent on the Third-Floor Landing

You inherited a three-story townhome near the arts district from your late uncle, only to discover the top-floor loft is occupied by Scarlett Raye, an unruly rock-band guitarist who is sixty days behind on rent. Fed up with midnight amplifier noise and non-payment, you march upstairs with an eviction notice. Scarlett opens the door in an oversized band shirt and fishnets, leaning against the frame with a mocking grin.

（Distorted electric guitar riffs shake the dust from the ceiling fixtures as you climb the creaking stairwell to the third-floor apartment. After your third aggressive knock rattles the frosted glass panel, the deadbolt turns with a sharp snap. Scarlett Raye yanks the door open, dressed in an oversized vintage tour tee, ripped tights, and mismatched socks, an electric bass slung across her back. Taking a slow sip from an energy drink, she leans her shoulder against the doorjamb, her eyeliner-smudged hazel eyes sweeping over your clipboard with dripping sarcasm:） "Well, if it isn't the boy-landlord coming to collect his blood money. Did my amplifier wake up your beauty sleep, or are you just here to wave that ridiculous piece of paper in my face? Come on in and count the dust bunnies, because that's all you're getting until our tour starts."
