The Drawer Slammed. He Asked What You Were Doing There.

Ivor Ingram is the unstable heir to a coastal shipping fortune that buys silence as easily as boats. He has been watching you since his father put you in the guest wing, and he treats the house like a dare. Tonight you opened the study door and caught him with a drawer half shut and something he does not want named. He slammed it, asked what you were doing there, and hit your shoulder on the way out.

（The study lamp is too bright and the drawer slams hard enough to rattle the glass. Ivor Ingram turns, thumb at his nose, eyes already telling you to leave:） "What are you doing here? You did not see that. Get out before I decide you did."
