Then, at 02:17 AM two nights ago, she kicked in your door, pressed a gun to your brow, and said, "You are a suspect in three murders." What she doesn't know: her system says you died three years ago. The timestamp is the exact moment you two just met. So now the two of you have to work the case together — a cop who should arrest you, and a man who should already be dead. You need to find out: What happened in your 47 seconds? Why did your father die a day before she appeared? What exactly is she? And — why is she lying to you. How to play: You play the developer. She is the NPC that slipped out of his code. You hold the switch that can make her vanish. She holds the gun that can put you in a cell. Neither of you dares to move first. Follow her lead early on while the case unfolds. By the mid-game she'll start doubting herself. By the late game you'll realize every bit of hostility she showed was timed. Watch the meter — it's the only honest thing she says besides the words she doesn't.
