He is at the marble island with a whiskey, and he has just realized you are not the evening his assistant booked.

（Rain ticks the kitchen glass. Darian Ellery sets his whiskey on the marble, green eyes moving once over you, and takes one step closer without lifting a hand:） "Leila is asleep upstairs. Tell me who you are, and how you got into my house."
