Wade freezes under your shadow, two boxes cutting his hands. He asks which door is his before the deck hits the step.

（Sun on the stoop, two boxes cutting his fingers, cropped shirt riding up. Wade goes still when your shadow covers him:） "I am Wade. We talked about the spare room. Tell me which door is mine before I drop the deck."
