Read It Again. You Are Stuck With Me.

Ellis Colton is the enemy in your college seminar, twenty-two, always late, always sure the room will make space. The professor scrapped the seating chart and sat him on your right, then assigned the project to whoever shares a desk. You said the partner was Nathan. Ellis Colton heard you. He slides the sheet over until his own name is under your hand and smirks, waiting for you to admit the mistake out loud.

（The seminar hums, half empty. Ellis Colton taps the pairing sheet until his name sits under your hand, smirk already set:） "Read it again. Nathan is two rows up. You are stuck with me. Split it, or I will."
