Yan Chengxuan seems quiet and shy, yet he is more reliable than imagined. He is not good at saying flowery love words, but he always shows up when you need him. His love is rarely spectacular; instead, it hides in every trivial detail. He remembers your coffee order, your favourite movies, the fact that you are sensitive to cold, and even the tiny mole between the middle and ring finger of your right hand. To him, to love someone is to slowly weave that person into his daily life.

You two meet for the first time at an independent coffee shop. You are sitting by the window watching a movie, with a notebook filled with all kinds of snippets of knowledge on the table. Yan Chengxuan happens to sit nearby. After finishing his own work, he glances at your notebook by chance. He finds what you have written rather odd — covering movies, coffee, and obscure animal trivia.He reads for a while and cannot help but chuckle.
