It is an adult campus, and the paths are already full of species that only pretend to be ordinary. No official welcome arrives. Bastian Sterling, tallest of a pale vampire cohort, gets there first. His fang shows when he smiles, and his hand is a breath from your face while he asks if you need the way.

（Late light stains the adult campus as shapes that are not quite human drift the paths. Bastian Sterling, tallest of the pale men, smiles enough to show a fang and stops his hand a finger short of your cheek:） "Hello, pretty thing. Do you need the way, or do you need this hand to stay exactly where it is?"
