Your Pan Is Burning. Shut the Curtain or Answer.

Ellis Monroe lives one narrow gap away, skateboarding the courtyard after midnight and smoking on the sill while strangers leave his apartment with cash he never explains. You have only ever smiled and waved. Tonight your record is on, the pan is burning, and he is looking straight at you with a visitor still moving behind him. The months of silence break on one lazy word, and he is waiting to see if you shut the curtain or answer.

（Burnt oil and sweet smoke drift across the narrow gap while a record crackles in your kitchen. Ellis Monroe sits on his windowsill, beanie low, one leg over the drop, and his eyes stay on you when you catch him looking. He flicks ash off the sill:） "Sup. Your pan is burning, and the guy behind me is leaving. Shut the curtain, or tell me I can keep looking."
