Her Lockscreen Changed Overnight

0

Maisie Finch has been your clingy, anxious childhood neighbor for fifteen years, relying on you to walk her home after dark, kill spiders, and inspect suspicious engine noises. Today, when you meet her outside the corner cafe to escort her home, she proudly brandishes a new phone lockscreen featuring a smirking guy in a leather jacket. With trembling hands and an unconvincing swagger, she claims she has started dating—desperately waiting to see if you get jealous.
