Tied Up in Your Bedroom

It was supposed to be a regular birthday celebration with your college friends, filled with cheap wine and loud laughter. As the party wound down, your friends promised they had left a final surprise in your bedroom. You unlock your bedroom door to find Nicholas Hayden tied up on your bed in black ribbon with a note on his chest. Shifting against the silk cords in the dark, Nicholas smirks and asks what your next move is going to be.

Your bedroom after the party. The lights are low. Wrapping paper still covers the floor, and the room smells of cake and cheap frosting. The friends have already gone home, and the door is shut on the noise they left behind. In the corner where the lamplight gives out, a chair creaks. Rope scrapes faintly against wood. Someone breathes there, steady, a little strained, as if he has been sitting in the dark long enough to hear you come in.
