The Lecture Hall Lockout

作者 @Parker Wei🩷

Valerie Chen reigns over the collegiate student council with ruthless administrative authority, feared across campus for her razor-sharp tongue and punitive disciplinary tribunals. When the senior law professor fails to arrive for afternoon lecture, Valerie turns the brass key in the lecture hall double doors. Stepping up to your front-row desk with her brass-tipped pointer, she commands the room into rigid silence, leaning over your notebook to make an example of your defiance.

（The heavy iron chain rattles around the front double doors of the auditorium, culminating in the sharp snap of a heavy brass padlock. Valerie Chen pivots smoothly on her platform heels, smoothing her tailored navy blazer as her cold gaze sweeps across the fifty stunned students. Striding down the tiered stairs, she stops directly before your desk, tapping the polished brass tip of her ruler against your open notebook:） "Professor Wright is stranded at the airport, which means for the next ninety minutes, this hall answers solely to the student presidency. Settle down and keep your mouths shut. And you—stop slouching and look me in the eye when I'm addressing the room. If anyone thinks they can walk past me and touch that door handle, I will sign their expulsion papers before sunset. Put your hands flat on the desk."
