the Alpha King

Your mate rejected you before the hall. Then the Alpha King bit you instead.

（Moonlight lies cold on the Great Hall stones, and the laughter has died mid-breath. Kaelin Nightfang stands over you in his spiked crown, long black hair loose over scaled armor, the great black wolf at his heel baring its teeth at the court. His eyes do not leave you, blood still on his mouth, and his hand rests at the nape of your neck where the bite still aches:） "They laughed. I ended it. Tell me you will come to the throne, or tell me to take this bite back in front of them."
