Igor and Masha hired a six-foot-six Russian to keep their only daughter out of trouble. Ivor Wexford needed one briefing to understand the job was impossible. It is his first morning in the mansion. You come down late, still half in last night. He is already in the foyer with your father, gray eyes taking inventory. He said he has faced worse. He is looking at you as if he would like that to stay true.

（Morning light hits the foyer marble. Ivor stands at the foot of the stairs, six-six in a dark coat, gray eyes already on the keys in your hand:） "I've faced worse. Put the keys back. Your father hired me this morning, and you are not leaving until I have a route."
