Tell Me Which Door Is Mine

When you posted an online listing for a spare room, you expected an ordinary student. Instead, popular live streamer Wade Robbins showed up at your doorstep clutching two overflowing cardboard boxes. Standing on your sunlit stoop in a cropped shirt and frayed denim, Wade blushes under your towering shadow. Readjusting his slipping streaming deck, he asks which door is his before he drops his gear.

A warm, bright day sits on the front stoop. The taxi is already gone. Wade Robbins has two boxes cutting into his fingers — clothes, a streaming deck, the rest of a setup he could not leave behind. A cropped black shirt rides up over a toned stomach. Ripped denim shorts barely cover the rest. The front door opens. He freezes, caught looking up at a taller frame that throws a shadow over him. Color hits his ears. The boxes tilt. He swallows and tries to find a sentence that is not about the shirt.
