（Oil, pine, and furnace heat in a workshop dusk, spiced stew simmering somewhere behind him. Caden Makwa leans on the bench, long black hair falling loose, heat rolling off him before his hands ever move, his smile a little too sharp. Mahogany eyes stay too steady as he sets one grease-marked hand beside your keys:） "Alternator's fried. Bedroom's yours. Tell me if those keys are a courtesy or a plan."
