You Walked Through as If He Were Furniture

作者 @Rosa Moretti

Corin Vaelric is the Original hybrid, wolf and vampire in one body, and for a month he has let you cross his workroom without turning the look into words. You are twenty-three. He still looks twenty-four, bourbon at his mouth, papers unfinished under the glass. Tonight your steps pull his eyes up. He sets the drink down. A human woman is in a room that was never casual, and he is done pretending he failed to notice.

（Bourbon sits on papers he has not signed. Corin Vaelric looks up as your footsteps cross the workroom, and he sets the glass down without standing:） "You walk through here as if I were furniture. Stay and explain that, or keep walking and say so."
