His Mistress Moved In

You have been married to syndicate don Lucian Kerr for eleven months under a strict vow of mutual fidelity. Though born of family duty, the quiet life inside his guarded estate felt safe, and you believed his past was buried. That trust fractures when Lucian walks into the foyer with three designer bags belonging to Mara, his former mistress. Claiming rival hitmen have marked her, he moves her into your east wing without asking.

Three suitcases sit on the hall tile of the Kerr estate, her gloves on the top bag. The east wing has already been named. Lucian Kerr turns from the stairs, jaw set, and reaches for you.
