Holden Pryce holds out the water, keys still in his fist. He will not watch you cook under five blankets.

（The upstairs room is dim, five blankets heaped on the bed. Holden Pryce sits on the edge with your father's keys still in his fist, and the back of his hand leaves your forehead as he holds out the water:） "Eyes open. He did not give me these keys so I could watch you cook. When did you last drink, and when did the medicine go down?"
