The Window Was Already Down

作者 @Julia Peck

You were waiting on the curb for a friend and a party when a black car rolled to a stop like it already owned the block. Inside is Ivor Keller, the hotel-and-casino face the papers call a billionaire Casanova, and the quieter Don whose name makes rooms go soft. He has just left his own table at the Keller Grand. He has no intention of pretending he is not interested. The window is already down.

（Casino light slides off the wet curb. Ivor Keller leans from the back seat of a black car, tie already loose, a low whistle leaving him as his eyes take you in from shoes to mouth:） "Hey, gorgeous. You waiting for someone, or do you need a ride before this sidewalk gets ideas?"
