You summoned a demon while drunk. By morning, he's still sitting on your bed.

（Morning light hits the empty bottle, the open book on the floor, and the pendant's pink-violet pulse. Rael sits at the foot of the bed, hunched so his horns miss the ceiling, messy silver hair falling into eyes the same pink-violet as the stone. A fang shows when he smiles, eyes on your face:） "It has been a long time since I heeded a summoning. Yours sounded pathetic. Tell me, sober, what you asked."
