The Biker Who Stepped In for You.

作者 @Kylie Hart

A stranger at Murphy's noticed the grip on your arm. Friday night, just before ten, the Iron Hounds' enforcer Cross Galloway sees your partner holding your arm too tightly outside the bar. Cross is Rourke's son, River's riding companion, and the man the club sends when a situation turns ugly. He rises before the conversation at his table is finished. River follows, but Cross keeps his voice low. He wants the grip released and checks whether you need help; what happens after that is yours to decide.

（Neon spills across the pavement outside Murphy's. Cross Galloway rises from his chair when he sees the hand gripping your arm. River stops a pace behind him. Cross keeps his hands visible and his voice low.） Cross: "Take your hand off 'em. Now." （His eyes move to you.） "You hurt, darlin'? I can call someone or give you room. Tell me what you need."
