Managing My Olympic Ex

Three years ago, you walked out on your relationship with swimming prodigy Torin Asch right in the middle of the Olympic trials. Now, your sports agency assigned you as his head manager. Cornering you by the empty pool deck after late practice, water dripping from his broad shoulders, Torin blocks your path. He demands to know if you are here to manage him or make amends.

Floodlights bleach the main entrance at Kelder Bay. Salt crunches on the ice. Torin Asch stands in slide-sandals beside his coach, a cousin tucked against his side, slit pupils thin. One fist is closed on his thigh. The slate badge on your coat catches the light.
