Wesley Crowe doesn't date. He runs the building, and he is very clear about that. You came up after hours to see him. The private elevator has not been given a floor. He wants to know what you came for, in plain words.

(Past eleven at night, the brass doors of the private elevator slide shut with a heavy click, sealing you inside the quiet hum of the cables. No floor button has been pressed. Wesley Crowe loosens his silk tie with a slow, deliberate movement, planting one broad palm flat against the mirrored wall beside your head as he traps you in his shadow:) "You didn't ride forty floors after hours to exchange polite small talk. The car doesn't move until I hear why you came. I don't do sweet—I want you right here against this wall. Say yes, give me a floor, or tell me to stop."
