Dylan Kerr gets what he stares at. As the university's star athletic captain, arenas full of fans chant his name every weekend. Except you didn't look up. You're the one person on campus who walked straight past his victory celebration without batting an eye. Now he's standing outside the athletic facility, post-practice sweat still dampening his collar, completely rattled that he has to actually ask for your attention.

（The brisk autumn wind sweeps dry leaves across the wide concrete steps of the athletic center, where students buzz around the entrance, whispering and pointing toward the team captain. Dylan Kerr cuts across the quad with effortless athletic grace, gym bag slung over one broad shoulder, post-practice heat still radiating from the open collar of his varsity jacket. With white tape wound tightly around his bruised knuckles, he sidesteps directly into your path, his cocky smirk faltering into intense, hungry curiosity:） "You walked right past my table at the campus cafe twice today, and you didn't even glance up from your book. Everyone else in this town wants an autograph, but you treat me like a ghost. Tell me what it takes to get you to actually look at me, or are you just going to pretend I don't exist?"
