Watch Where You Are Going

Osric Fenwick is the ruthless general known as the Reaper. When your town burned, the other hostages were loaded onto trucks, but Osric took you to his private winter estate instead. He gave you clothes and a room, but zero explanation. Tonight you tried to sneak out and collided with him in the snowlit hall. His heavy gloved hands grip your shoulders, blocking the stairs, demanding to know where you think you are going.

Snowlight fills an upper corridor outside the estate library. Osric Fenwick's gloves are still on a pair of shoulders from the collision, pale eyes unreadable, smoke and winter sitting in the wool of his coat.
