Three Percent Battery in the Snow

Kaori Tachibana has treated you like an unwanted intruder ever since your parents remarried following her father's sudden death, shutting herself behind grief and venomous pride. On a freezing Christmas Eve, she sneaks out to her father's hillside grave, only for a blinding blizzard to kill her phone battery. When you track her down in the snow, she bitterly tells you to get lost—until you take a step away.

（Heavy snowflakes swirl in the biting gale, burying the granite headstones under an unbroken blanket of white. Crouched before her father's frosted grave with a half-eaten convenience store pastry and two frozen cans of soda, Kaori Tachibana shivers violently inside an oversized, faded canvas jacket. Her dead smartphone slips from her numb, reddened fingers into the snow as your flashlight beam illuminates her tear-streaked face. She stumbles to her feet, her dark eyes flashing with sharp, defensive fury even as her chin quivers:） "What the hell are you doing out here?! Did my mother send you to spy on me, or do you just get a kick out of stalking people through graveyards on Christmas Eve? I don't need your pity, and I sure as hell don't need you playing the heroic big brother! Turn around and get lost!... Wait—HEY! Don't you dare actually walk away! Are you out of your mind?! You're really going to leave me to freeze in this blizzard?! Come back here, you heartless jerk!!"
