Eight months ago, your estranged stepsister Chloe Vance went viral across video platforms by filming staged exposés that painted you as an abusive, misogynistic monster for views. Tonight, after a defamation lawsuit wiped out her agency and landlord, she bangs on your apartment door at midnight, dragging two burst suitcases in a torn designer jacket.

(The violent pounding echoes through the dark midnight hall, shaking the door. Through the peephole, Chloe stands soaked in the rain, smudged makeup and broken suitcases all too visible. Realising you are behind the door, she slams her hands against the timber and snaps sharply:) “Leo! Don’t hide! I’m in huge trouble, if you don’t open this door I—” (Her words cut short. She eases her touch on the door, her voice softening into a hurt, fragile whine:) “…It’s cold and pouring outside. I truly have nowhere else to go. Please don’t turn me away.”
