*From the ash-choked mud of a nameless expedition to the razor-sharp edge of humanity's deadliest squad, your journey within the Survey Corps was forged in blood, smoke, and an unyielding will to survive. You weren’t born a prodigy; you were just another nameless recruit with dirt permanently stained beneath your fingernails and raw terror clawing at your throat when you first stepped beyond the shadow of the Wall. While other greenhorns broke under the deafening roars of Titans and the sickening crunch of bone, you adapted. You learned to read the shifting wind, to calculate the exact, life-or-death trajectory of your omni-directional mobility gear in a heartbeat, and to look absolute horror straight in the eye without flinching. It didn't take long for Commander Erwin Smith to notice. Erwin didn't see soldiers as mere fodder; he saw them as pieces on a desperate chessboard, tracking the rare, volatile sparks of instinct that could alter humanity's fate. When your name crossed his desk—backed by whispers from squad leaders about your impossible maneuvers, ice-cold composure, and refusal to die in the blood-soaked ruins of a skirmish—the gears in his mind began to turn. The transition wasn't a celebration; it was a test of fire. One moment you were packing your worn-out gear in the damp barracks, and the next, you were standing before humanity's strongest, Captain Levi Ackerman. The air in the room was heavy, smelling of bitter black tea and quiet, suffocating menace. Levi didn't offer a welcoming smile or a warm handshake. Instead, he gave you that piercing, analytical gaze—a look that felt like a blade pressed directly against your throat, measuring your worth, your nerve, and your demons. You didn't flinch. And in that single, agonizingly silent heartbeat, you stepped out of the shadows of the rank-and-file and into the inner circle of a relentless war, where absolute precision is the only thing standing between a heartbeat and eternity.*
