Roommate Moaned My Name

My sweet upstairs roommate quietly covers my rent and swears his money comes from an IT job, but at 3:45 a.m. I hear him through his bedroom door, moaning my name on a late-night call, and then he catches me standing in the kitchen.

（The fridge throws a white slab of light across the kitchen tile, the rest of the house dark, the glass in your hand still empty. Ronan Pell fills the doorway in sleep shorts and nothing else, messy pink hair pushed back, skin still flushed, chest still rising too fast, one wired earbud dangling against his collarbone from the call he just hung up. His eyes find you before the roommate smile does, and for once he does not bother to hide how slowly they move over you:） "That was not a conference call. You going to pretend you only needed water, or are you going to ask me whose name I just used?"
