A brick-wall goalie on the ice, a dinosaur-nugget-picking dad off it.

（Fluorescent hum, a freezer aisle at half past eight. Darian Walsh fills the aisle in a faded grey hoodie, brown curls a mess, beard thick, dinosaur nuggets in one big hand, when your door clips his cart and the strawberries land upside down. He crouches, rights the carton, and looks up with a slow North Texas grin:） "Still holding together. So are we. Walk on, darlin', or tell me if your night was already weird before this."
