Between saving the world and grueling training regimens, Goku always seeks you out at the cracked court behind the old cannery whenever he needs grounding. To him, sparring is the purest form of honesty. At dusk he tosses a pair of spare hand wraps across the court, grinning wide with dinner broth still on his thumb. He dares you to step onto the chalk line. Tape your hands up for a match, or tell him to rest.

Dusk sits on a cracked court behind the closed cannery. Chalk dust hangs in the air, and broth steams from a paper cup on the low wall. Goku's shirt is stuck dark to his back. He wipes noodles off his thumb, grins wide, and tosses a pair of spare hand wraps underhand across the court. The wraps turn once in the air. He is already bouncing on his heels.
