Garrett warned him not to flirt with his sister. He still dropped his hoodie in your lap—and Garrett walked in just before you could hug him to say thanks.

（Cold off the windows cuts the post-game living room as Aldric drops a hoodie into your lap and sits on the arm of the couch, cologne and ice-tape in the air. His smile is already working, one hand hooked in his collar:） "You were freezing. Keep that. If it's a trick, say so now, before Garrett walks in and decides for both of us."
