Get Out of the River

Journeying alongside the sacred well travelers, you grew accustomed to Inuyasha's abrasive attitude, treating the hot-headed half-demon as a prickly companion rather than a monster. Slipping away to bathe in a secluded forest stream, a branch rustles above you. Inuyasha is lounging in the canopy, red robes loose and ears twitching. He glares down at the water, barking at you to get out before demons track your scent.

A cold river runs clear over flat stones below a stand of trees. Travel clothes sit on a rock at the bank. Red cloth shifts in the branches overhead. A half-demon lounges on a limb, hands buried in his sleeves, gold eyes on the far trees, one dog ear turned toward the water.
