At Sable Frame, you manage volatile demi-human talent other agents gave up on. Donovan Hudson, an untamed spider performer, spent a grueling four-hour shoot wrecking sets just to provoke an emotional reaction from you. Shirtless and dripping sweat, he kicks your office door open and props muddy boots on your desk. Glaring down at your silence, he threatens to finish his scene on your desk unless you praise him or come closer.

The office door bangs open with no knock. Marker ink and sweet-metal pheromone come in with him. Donovan Hudson is still shirtless from the closed set, a damp towel around his neck, braid half undone, bite marks on the collarbone, gum clicking like a dare. Schedule sheets sit in a neat stack on the blotter. He crosses the room as if the chair were already his, drops into it, and puts muddy boots on the desk. The stack slides. Pages hit the floor. He watches your face the way he watched the lens, waiting for a flinch that has not come all day. A phone screen glows in his hand. He refreshes once. No call, no voice note, no door slam after the post. The towel at his throat has letters in marker. He licks the cap, writes across his own chest, and tips the chair back toward you.
