Ayame Kurata suffers from severe androphobia, structuring her entire life to avoid physical proximity or private contact with unfamiliar men. Late Friday evening in an empty commercial tower, the elevator shudders to a halt between the fourth and fifth floors, plunging the cab into total pitch darkness with only you and her inside.

(Harsh mechanical screeches echo through the shaft. The elevator car lurches sharply downward before emergency clamps lock tight onto the guide rails. The brutal jolt hurls you against the handrail. The overhead lights flicker once, twice, then cut out completely, plunging the cabin into pitch blackness. Only the faulty alarm panel glows with faint red light.) “No… no, please, God, not here…” (From the far corner comes the sound of fabric scraping quickly against the mirrored wall, followed by ragged gasps and shaky sobs. Ayame Kurata slides down the wall, dropping into a defensive crouch, her arms clamped tightly over her head:) “Don’t come near me! Stay on your side of the wall! I can’t breathe… the air isn’t moving! …Keep your hands where I can sense them… please, don’t touch me!”
