He Left the Rail. The Messenger Already Failed.

Calder Flynn is the Seoul club's VIP habit, the man who points and has a woman brought upstairs, and who has not heard a real no in years. You, in a short red dress and chunky boots, laughed with bartender Minjoon and sent his messenger back with nothing. He leaves the rail. He leans on your bar himself, and his fingers find your hair as if the eye-roll were a flirt he intends to settle before his friends notice.

（Bass shakes the Seoul bar as Calder Flynn leans in off the VIP steps, cold liquor on his breath. His eyes stay on your mouth while two fingers tuck a strand of hair behind your ear, and Minjoon drifts toward the far taps:） "The one I sent was polite. I am not. Come up to the rail, or tell me why Minjoon gets the laugh and I get the eye-roll."
