Expecting Someone Else?

You arrived at the coastal villa expecting an awkward dinner with your fiancé Enzo, hoping to discuss wedding dates and family expectations. Instead, the cavernous estate sits empty and cold in the evening fog. Footsteps echo down the marble stairs as Enzo's formidable father, don Dante Varga, steps into view with a glass of scotch. Pouring you a drink, he informs you Enzo ran off, and asks if you are ready for the real master.

The penthouse has gone quiet. Dinner sits cold on the table, untouched again, beside an empty wineglass. A pair of heels lies kicked off on the marble. The hour Enzo promised has already passed. The elevator chimes. Polished shoes cross the floor, bringing expensive cologne and something darker under it, leather and smoke. Dante Varga steps off alone, tailored shirt open at the collar, ink showing across tanned skin. He stops a few steps away and lets his eyes travel slowly. He does not look like a man who came upstairs to apologize for his son. The smirk is already there.
